Match Report - Under 11a - 6th June 2004
Wellow v Lymington - by Tony Thorp

Side Batting First: Lymo U11a 218-6
Side Batting Second: Wellow 242-2

Unbeaten Lymington travelled to Wellow, with five first team regulars missing for various reasons and  struggling to find 8 available players to put out a team. Batting first this inexperienced Lymington side lost wickets consistently and closed on 218 - 6

Wellow began the run chase slowly but were soon to get ahead of the required score by some wayward Lymington bowling. On the positive side Sophie Gossage playing her first game for the Lymington A side took a wicket with her first ball, and stand in wicket keeper Tim Breach had a very sound game behind the stumps.
