Side Batting First: Lymington B 215
Side Batting Second: Hyde 287 |
Lymington's youngsters were never in this match losing wickets at regular intervals against some accurate bowling from their Hyde counterparts. David Cureton and Alan Maher stopped the fall of wickets, and Philip Newton (9) hit a couple of smart boundaries, but it was never enough to reach a competitive score.
Despite this the general disharmony of the fielding was disappointing. As ever there were still positives to take from the game, and this time it was the improved bowling of Simon Lowe who was the only bowler to taste success.
