Damo's Sunday Best
Damian Jayasinghe notched up a half century and then grabbed a brace of wickets as Lymington drew their Sunday friendly with Romsey at the Sports Ground yesterday. Jayasinghe (54) and Meg Gannaway (29) helped Lymo reach 204 for 9 at tea. Despite an unbeaten 77 from ex-Lymingtonian Max Smith, Romsey's reply ground to a halt at 174 for 6 with the little Sri Lankan taking 2 for 12.

Veteran spinner Geoff Renshaw (pictured) also took a wicket,  making him the top Sunday wicket-taker in the club. Geoff is also the red hot favourite to retain the 'Lymington CC Pipe Smoker of the Year' award.
