Lymington fired up by this batting disaster came out with all guns blazing and opening bowlers Peter Smith (12 overs 5 for 41) and Trevor Phillips (10 overs 2 for 25) soon had St Cross in trouble at 15 runs for 5 wickets in the 9th over and an unlikely win was in prospect. With the 6th wicket falling at 26 the prospects were even more realistic but overseas player Raj Naik (35) held the innings together and although 2 wickets fell at 62 Lymington failed to take anymore and lost by 2 wickets.
A wonderful fight back by Lymington who actually move up one place in the League above Calmore Sports, Sparsholt and OT's & Romsey who all lost.
