LYMINGTON CC 93 for 3 v Hythe & Dibden CC 58 for 6

Lymington won the toss and batted first with Aidan Lindsay-Wood and Jamie Gosssage opening the batting. Jamie was bowled in the 8th over for 12 but Aidan retired on reaching 30 having scored 3 boundaries. Sam Tombs scored 13 before he was caught and Matt Boynton was bowled for 12. Charlie Kinsella was not out 12 and Ben Rostand was 4 not out having struck a boundary taking the Lymington total to 93 for 3 off their 18 overs.

In reply Hythe & Dibden found runs hard to get against the tight Lymington bowling of Aidan Lindsay-Wood (3 overs 1 for 7), Ben Rostand (3 overs 0 for 7), Matt Boynton (3 overs 1 for 8), Tim Breach (3 overs 0 for 5), Shane Devlin ( 2 overs 0 for 8), Matt Branwell (2 overs 0 for 8) and Cameron McKeon ( 2 overs 1 for 10).

The Lymington colts also fielded well and for their first game they looked very good under the coaching of Tony Thorp. It augurs well for the season.
