At 52 for 4 BAT were in trouble but with sensible batting they recovered against the bowling of Will Thorp ( 4 overs 0 for 29) and Stuart Beveridge (3 overs 0 for 25) and although Tim Noble ( 2 overs 2 for 15) including a tremendous catch by Dan Walters and Tom Thorp ( 1 over 1 for 5), BAT finished on133 for 7 after 18 overs.
Tim Noble (9) and Tom Thorp (16) found it difficult to score runs against the rather fast tall BAT opening bowlers. The former was out cutting again as in the previous week and Will Thorp (8) having struck 2 nice boundaries was also caught in the gully. Stuart Beveridge (1) was bowled and Tom Thorp was caught behind and at 81 for 4 in the 14th over Lymington were up with the run rate. Toby Hayes (18) hit 4 boundaries and Elliott Lindsay-Wood (9) a big 6 and with Dan Walters (12 not out) hitting 2 boundaries Lymington finished 24 runs short to a physically bigger BAT side.
