Tim Noble (0) departing first ball. Tom Hayward (9), James Winderam (8), Caspar Todd (0) and Tom Hill (2) all followed quickly but skipper Will Thorp (80) battled on striking the ball to all parts of the ground including two 6's and eleven 4's. However the tail subsided and Lymington were all out for 182 in 33 overs. Jack Waller (7 overs 3 for 23), Luke Rivoire (8 overs 2 for 33) and Will Gunnell (3.1 overs 2 for 14) all bowled well.
In reply Andrew Argyle (29) and Alex Moorman (38) opened for Bashley and the latter was out with the score on 80. Jack Waller (0) and S Scott (9) followed quickly and at 97 for 4 Bashley were up against it but Josh Davies (62) held the tail together as wickets fell regularly. Josh Digby (9) struck 2 boundaries and with the score on 182 for 9 it was anybody's match but Will Gunnell (4 not out) and skipper Gavin Bayliff (4 not out) steered Bashley home with 1 wicket remaining. Will Thorp (8 overs 2 for 21) and Tom Hayward (8 overs 3 maidens 2 for 17) bowled well but were unable to capture that vital final wicket.
