This was a difficult away match against high scoring Rowledge but the Lymington opening bowlers of Trevor Phillips (12 overs 3 for 49) and Adam Darbyshire (7 overs 2 for 33) soon had them in trouble at 41 for 3 with their top scorers out. A 4th wicket stand of 115 helped repair the damage and although Christian Pain (12 overs 2 for 48) and Keith Dabengwa (10 overs 1 for 60) picked up a few wickets, Lloyd Scott (4 overs 0 for 36) and Mark Burrett (4 overs 0 for 25) were unable to take wickets and Rowledge finished on 258 for 9. Wides again were a great help to the batting side with 19 being conceded.
A disastrous start by Lymington left them 22 for 5 with Adrian Hunt (2), Keith Dabengwa (2), previous 2 weeks century maker Dan Wiggins (1), Christian Pain (9) and Neil Trestrail (8) all out before the 12th over. Although out of form Mark Burrett (55) and newcomer Paul Newton (38) added some useful runs and then Trevor Phillips (22) and Adam Darbyshire (10), Lloyd Scott (1 not out) was again left stranded. Once more Lymington were unable to bat 50 overs being all out in the 38th. With 3 matches remaining against Andover (home) Ventnor (away) and Trojans (away Limington need to win at least one to be clear of relegation having been top of the table after 3 matches.
