Lymo win by 4 wickets

Paultons won the toss and elected to bat with Trevor Phillips (2 overs 0 for 16) and Lloyd Scott (3 overs 0 for 15) allowing the openers to get off to a steady start however they lost their first wicket at 36 in the 7th over bowled by Mark Burrett (5 overs 3 for 14) in fact he picked up 2 wickets in that over and bowled well along with Christian Pain (5 overs 3 for 34) who pegged the batsmen back. New overseas player Zimbabwean Keith Dabengwa (5 overs 0 for 29) was introduced into the attack and Paultons lost wickets and finished on 112 for 7 after 20 overs.

Mark Burrett picked up 3 wickets for 14

In reply for Lymington Bryn Darbyshire (13) and Mark Burrett (9) were soon dismissed but Keith Dabengwa (50 not out) held the innings together and with Dan Wiggins(3), Christian Pain (10), Neil Trestrail (3) and Mark Newton (6) all departing before skipper Adie Hunt joined Dabengwa to steer Limington home by 4 wickets.

In the next round the opponents are Division 1 side Bournemouth on Thursday 8th June at the Sports Ground at 6pm.
