A very young Lymington side won the toss & elected to bat. The opening pair of Guy Hayward 64 & Mark Jackson 66 not out got Lymington of to a good start, however there was acceleration to the overall scoring rate. Dom Di Maria scored a good 48 not out & the final score was 207 for 4. This was not likely to be enough on a good wicket & small outfield at Bramshaw.
Bramshaw lost their first wicket in the second over to Peter Harding, giving Lymington a glimmer of hope. However after that Bramshaw marched to victory, finally winning by 9 wickets with 8 overs to spare.
