Redlynch & Hale won the toss & elected to field. Lymington got off to a steady start, getting to 53 before losing their first wicket in the 12 over, Dominic DiMaria 27. Mark Jackson continued on & eventualy made 100. After that Dave Griffiths 63 (127 run partnership with Jackson) & Peter Tapper a quick 32 not out off 18 balls were the main contributors to a total of 263 for 5 in their 48 overs.

Redlynch & Hale lost their first wicket to Peter Harding in the second over. From then on lost at a steady rate getting to 110 for 6 after 25 overs. Then followed a slight recovery before finally being all out for 218. All the bowlers did a good job, Peter Harding 6 overs 2 wickets for 14 runs, Martin Gregory 11 overs 2 for 39, Alex Treagus 12 overs 3 for 63, Peter Tapper 10 overs 2 for 57 & Mansu Tarafdar 6 overs 1 for 39.
