Lymington won the toss and asked OTs to bat first. In the third over J Cartwright (3-1-5-4) wickets, and backed up by D Cureton, the OTs partnership finished on 201. K Moors and J Roberts kept things tight, and when F Ambrose (2-0-10-2) and A Drodge (2-0-6-1) continued things looked bad for OTs. With the introduction of A Maher (3-1-12-4) OTs struggled and eventually closed on 206.
In reply A Drodge (10) and K Moors gave lymington their usual good solid start, and with J Cartwright (12), J Quigley(18), F Ambrose (21) and D Cureton (17) all putting the bowling to the sword, and only losing one wicket Lymington finished on 314. It was a hard game in the feild for OTs who stuck to their task well despite only having 7 players.
