Aidan Lindsay-Wood (3 overs 0 for 4) and Shane Devlin ( 3 overs 0 for 13) opened the bowling for Lymington with leg-break bowler Cameron McKeon ( 4 overs 0 for 5) bowling tightly but were unable to take wickets. However Charlie Kinsella (4 overs 3 for 8) taking off the wicket-keeping pads made the breakthrough but Nicky Elliot (2 overs 1 maiden 0 for 1) Jamie Gossage (1 over 0 for 1) and David Cureton (1 over 0 for 1) were unable to take anymore wickets and Hythe finished on 45 for 4.
In reply Aidan Lindsay-Wood (16 not out) and Jamie Gossage(6) opened the batting before the latter was bowled quickly followed by Charlie Kinsella (0). New player Ned Parker (6) was also bowled before Matt Vokes (4 not out) steered the side home by 7 wickets.
