New Milton 98 for 3 - Lymington 111 for 3
Lymington lost the toss and were invited to bat first by New Milton. Opening batsmen O Wiltshire (6) and A Lindsay-Wood (28) added 26 runs in 5 overs before losing the wicket of Wiltshire bowled by M McGrigor C Kinsella came to the crease and aggressively set about the bowlers hitting a rapid (33 retired). Towards the end of the innings Lymington could not accelerate against some very good and accurate New Milton bowling, only J Gossage (13*) batted with any authority enabling Lymington to close there innings on 111-3.
New Milton began there reply in disastrous fashion losing E Day bowled in the first over by Lymington captain A Lindsay-Wood. J Rogers (30 Retired) and M McGrigor (24) batted very sensibly and put New Milton in a position to win the game requiring 40 runs from the final 6 overs. Lymington duly applied the brakes and eventually won by 13 runs.
