Lymington were asked to bat first, and were quickly into their stride. Joe Holland (11), Jacob McQuoid (10) and Harry Illsey (13) all reached double figures, and backed up by the other Lymington batsmen reached a fine total of 312 in their 16 overs. Pick of the bowlers was Emily Murphy who took both the Lymington wickets to fall.

Langley showed the match was not a formality for Lymington with Sophie Diaper(6) and Emily Murphy(7) getting after the Lymington bowlers and finishing their 4 overs on 221. It was not until the last partnership that Langley found the way forward again. Raj Sondae (7) and Jordan Smith (5) put the Lymington bowlers under pressure, but ultimately there was always too much to do at this point. W Entwistle, J Cornwall, K Headley, and H Illsey all took a wicket a piece, but pick of the bowlers was G Edwards (2-1-1-4) with 4 wickets.
