Lymington CC’s Under 15 season was not as successful as the prior year due mainly to the bad weather with some matches rained off all at the Sports Ground. In fact the only match played at home was the final match of the season against the league South champions Fawley with Lymington beating them to record their only defeat. Losses against Totton & Eling CC where a winning position was thrown away and against Bashley in a close match and losing to Alderholt in the cup meant that the team finished the season in third place.

Aidan Lindsay-Wood with 171 runs in 7 innings was top run scorer with captain Sam Tombs 139 runs in 5 innings. George Hayward with 102 runs in 5 innings, Josh Thacker 74 runs in 6 innings and Charlie Kinsella 66 runs in 5 innings also contributed to the batting.

Aidan Lindsay-Wood was also top wicket taker with 8 wickets followed by Charlie Kinsella with 7 wickets, Ben Rostand and Nick Elliot with 4 wickets each. Jakob Leigh with only 3 wickets did not fulfil his early promise but showed that his batting was improving with a knock of 29 against Milford but he along with Sam Tombs and Ben Rostand will be the only ones over age for next season.

Max Williams and David Cureton showed their potential and augers well for the team next season along with Ollie Wiltshire.

Next season Mark Thacker will be taking over from Tony Wharton who has only been managing the team until someone was willing to take over. Tony thanked Max Williams' mother Sarah for her help in scoring and administration of the team during the season and also other parents who helped collecting match fees. Jill Lindsay-Wood has offered to help Mark with administration next year.
