Young Lymington to strong for Bransgore

Bransgore batted first and were soon in trouble due to fine bowling by Entwisle (4-0-6-2) and Haining (4-0-15-1). The introduction of C Moors (4-1-6-0) put the brakes on, and backed up by J Elliott (3-0-10-1), H Chandler (2-0-11-1) and J McQuoid (1-0-3-1) kept the brangore batsmen down to only 54 runs from their 18 overs. Only L Pope (20) was able to make any headway againsty the accurate bowling.

Lymingtons reply stuttered when J Orman was bowled second ball to a fine delivery, and J Quigley (6) followed shortly afterwards, it seemed Bransgore could see light at the end of the tunnel. However opener J Holland (16) and the free flowing C Moors (22) quickly snuffed out the light, wrapping things up in the 11th over.

A fine win for a side with 7 under 11s in, the learning curve continues.
