Lymington 99 for 4 New Milton 58 all out
On a cold and blustery wet summers morning Lymington lost the toss and new Milton decided to field first.
Lymington made steady progress until the loss of 2 wickets in the 6th over. with Lymo feeling under pressure O Wiltshire knocked the ball around lovely and retired on 40. F Ambrose (20) and D Cureton (10) increased the score to 99 for 4 after 18 overs.
New Milton then came into bat and with N Clark (32) hitting the ball all over the place they were soon running away with the run rate. A stunning catch by F Ambrose proved to be the turning point of the game. With the introduction of L Ambrose he claimed 5 wickets for 3 runs and N Elliott claimed 4 wickets for 14 runs. 2 quick stumpings and a sharp catch from wicket keeper K Moors, new Milton were all out for 58 after 12 overs.
