Pylewell won the toss and elected to field, the weather by this time was sunny and continued to stay dry for the whole game.
Mark Jackson (6) and Dave Griffiths (72) opened the batting for Lymington. After losing Jackson in the 4th over with the score on 11, Jamie Harvey (47) came in and produced a 101 partnership with Griffiths. Further contributions from Chris Warde (17), Josh Thacker (16 not out) and Simon Naylor (29 not out) left the final score on a reasonable 205 for 5.
Pylewell Park set about chasing their target with a slightly worrying ease from a Lymington point of view. The Pylewell top 3 all got starts. However after Royan (59) fell caught and bowled by Jamie Harvey with the score at 103 for 2 off 19 overs, things slowly started to turn Lymingtons way. Although not able to get the required run rate above 5 runs an over, until near the very end, a steady fall of wickets got Lymington their win, with Pylewell finishing on 184 all out.
The bowling highlight was Chris Warde's 5 wickets for 29 runs off 8.5 overs + Simon Naylor's 3 for 30 off 10 overs (adding to his 29no). Other highlights to this win were the conceding of only 1 wide and a great reaction catch by Alex Treagus + two catches from Griffiths.
