Lymington 135 - East Tytherley 101

Lymington travelled to East Tytherley looking to bounce back from last weekends defeat to Shrewton. After winning the toss Lymington made a bad start and were struggling at 44 for 4 after 14 overs, a partnership of 59 between James Stevenson 19 and Simon Naylor 34 pushed the score up to over 100 before both departed in quick succession. Lymington's final total of 135 owed much to 16 year old Josh Thacker who played very well for his 29 as the bottom order crumbled against the bowling of Edwards who took 6-23.

Needing to bowl East Tytherley out to win the game Lymington made the perfect start as Martin Gregory struck in the first over, wickets continued to fall at regular intervals as Lymington held every catch which came their way, in particular Jamie Harvey who held on to 4 including a fantastic one handed effort at square leg. Every Lymington bowler contributed to bowling East Tytherley out for 101 to end with a winning margin of 34 runs.
