Colts Presentation Evening

Fresh from helping the club win the prestigious Twenty20 trophy at the Rose Bowl, Lymington’s former Aussie Test player Simon Cook was on hand to present the colts awards for the 2009 season.

Colts co-ordinator Lee Moors reflected on another enjoyable season for all age groups, and while the New Forest Under 13 cup was only trophy won, the Under 11s, 13s and 15s all finished a very close second in their respective leagues. The fact that Lymington's B teams also finished midway or above in their divisions shows just how strong the Colts Section continues to be. The club was proud that Asa Drodge and Finn and Felix Ambrose represented Hampshire during the season, and Lymington also provided a host of New Forest players.

Lee thanked all the coaches, scorers, umpires and helpers, and especially the managers Simon Collinson, Jai Hawker, Pauline Ambrose, Andy Marshall and, of course, Lee himself!
